WE HELP YOU MEET CERTIFICATION
Certifications offer vital and oftentimes required credentials that authenticate a facility’s efforts to ensure the safety of first responders, employees, and the property. Fire Safety First partners with clients to ensure fire protection and life safety systems on client premises work as designed to meet certifications set forth by third parties.
California Fire Code
The California Fire Code establishes a set of regulations consistent with nationally recognized good practices to safeguard life and property from the hazards of fire, explosion, or other dangerous conditions present in new/existing buildings and structures. These regulations provide safety and assistance to firefighters and first responders during critical moments in emergencies.
California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 19
The State of California requires water-based fire protection systems to be inspected, tested, and maintained in accordance with the Title 19 – California Code of Regulations. This is oftentimes referred to as a 5-Year Title 19 Certification. This certification informs state and local fire authorities that your fire sprinklers, standpipe systems, fire pumps, fire hydrants, and their associated equipment meet fire safety compliance standards.
Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations provides accreditation and certification to healthcare organizations nationwide. This accreditation informs patients as well as other organizations that a facility can provide safe and high-quality care. Fire Safety First works with hospitals, nursing care centers, and laboratories across Southern California to meet standards set forth by The Joint Commission.
